On March15, 2024, The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) reached an agreement with plaintiffs that would, if approved by the court, end litigation of claims brought on behalf of home sellers related to broker commissions. The Settlement also includes some changes to real estate transactions, but importantly, consumers will continue to have choices regarding real estate services.

These practice changes will go into effect August 17, 2024.    


What do you need to know?

 


By filling out this form, you understand Anthony Santiago and FLORIDA CAPITAL REALTY are working in compliance with NAR Policy Policy effective August 17, 2024. 

  


If you are a buyer, you understand the following new policy will affect you. Brokers/Agents working with a buyer must enter into a written agreement before touring a home.

If you are a seller, you understand the following new policy will affect you.  Sellers will no longer cover commissions for both their agent and the buyers.
